The chart shows the percent of normal precipitation that has occurred over the last 7 days. Areas along the state line reaching from northwest Iowa into northeast Nebraska have seen between 6-15 inches of rainfall, which is between 300 and 600 percent of normal rainfall since June 12.' /&gt; &lt;br /&gt;

      <description>Warmer temperatures are leading to flooding in parts of Wyoming and Montana along the Bighorn River, Little Bighorn River, Pryor Creek and tributaries of the Yellowstone River.
In response to requests from the Crow Nation for sandbags, the State of Montana for ice jam technical assistance on the Mussellshell River, and from the State of Wyoming for technical assistance regarding an ice jam and flooding in north-central Wyoming along the Bighorn River, the Omaha District Readiness Branch has activated its Emergency Operations Center to Level II, Emergency Watch Status and is communicating directly with the National Weather Service for updated river stage forecasts.&lt;br/&gt; 
&lt;img src='https://media.defense.gov/2014/Mar/10/2000783546/115/75/0/140309-A-CE999-434.JPG' alt='Crews are monitoring ice jamming and river conditions along the Big Horn River at the Federal levee in Greybull, Wyo. Water levels decreased from Sunday, March 9 into Monday, March 10 but with ice remaining in the area and still to come downstream as well as a forecast for rain and snow from the National Weather Service, crews continue to monitor the area for concerns.' /&gt; &lt;br /&gt;

      <description>As river stages downstream of Denver continue to recede, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Omaha District will begin to gradually increase releases from Cherry Creek Dam. Releases from Cherry Creek Dam will be gradually increased over the next few days to evacuate flood control storage. On Thursday, Sept. 26, Cherry Creek Dam releases were increased from 40 cubic feet per second to 75 cfs. The releases are scheduled to be increased to 100 cfs on Monday, Sept. 30.&lt;br/&gt;

      <description>Dry conditions throughout the Missouri River basin since last summer might lead some communities throughout the Missouri River basin to believe that the risk of flooding is nonexistent this year. The risk of flooding still remains even during a drought, particularly due to isolated thunderstorms in areas below Gavins Point Dam where the Corps does not have a way to regulate the runoff. Residents throughout the basin are reminded to remain vigilant even during this drought period. &lt;br/&gt;
