      <description>Following the November 9 public hearing hosted by the U.S. Army Corps Of Engineers, Omaha District, the Nebraska Department of Roads (NDOR)  has withdrawn their permit application for the Nebraska Highway 12 - Niobrara East and West project under Section 404 of the Clean Water Act.&lt;br/&gt;

Portions of the roadway are within the Missouri National Recreational River (MNRR) boundary (39-Mile District). N-12 in this area has experienced frequent flooding. The applicant, the Nebraska Department of Roads (NDOR), is seeking a long-term solution to the problems associated with frequent flooding of these areas of N-12.' /&gt; &lt;br /&gt;

      <description>The Draft Environmental Impact Statement for the Nebraska Department of Roads’ proposed Nebraska Highway12 project is now available for public review.
The project, coordinated by the Nebraska Department of Roads seeks authorization to place fill in waters of the United States in connection with the proposed highway project. NDOR submitted a permit application on September 11, 2015 to place fill material east and west of the Village of Niobrara, Nebraska.&lt;br/&gt;
