NWO-2014-01468-BIS - 10/6/2017: Omaha District is evaluating a permit application from the Souris River Joint Board to construct a part of the Mouse River Enhanced Flood Risk Reduction Project (MREFPP) in Minot, North Dakota. The application includes all phases included in Construction Stage 1.5, as identified in the Corps Final Programmatic Environmental Impact Statement published in July 2017. Construction Stage 1.5 consists of a series of levees, structural road closures, riprap, raising bridges, floodwalls, tie-back levees and a high water bypass channel. Construction Stage 1.5 extends along the Mouse River from upstream of the ND Highway 83 Bypass to downstream of 3rd Street NE in Minot, North Dakota. The project site is located on and near the River in Sections 13, 18, 21, 22, 23 and 24, Township 155 North, Range 83 West, Latitude 48.228060 degrees North, Longitude -101.315584 degrees West, Ward County, North Dakota.

North Dakota Regulatory Office Address Change - 8/21/2017: Effective August 21, 2017 the North Dakota Regulatory and Lake Oahe Project Offices in Bismarck, North Dakota will be located on the campus of the North Dakota Army Reserve at 3319 University Drive. The campus is south of the Bismarck Airport and United Tribes Technical College. Phone numbers and emails will remain the same.

NWO-2017-1364-BIS (Reissued with Clarifications) - 8/10/2017: REISSUANCE TO CLARIFY THE PERMITTING PROCESS: Falkirk Mining Company is seeking re-authorization of its mining operations at the Falkirk Mine in McLean County, North Dakota. Current operations are covered under the 2012 Nationwide Permits number 21, which expires on March 18, 2018. Mine Areas are located within East Permit (NAFK-8405) Townships 145 and 146 North, Range 82 and 81 West; Future Permit 7th Addition (NAFK-8405) Township 146 North, Range 82 West; West Permit (NAFK-87-05) Township 145 North, Range 82 West, Township 146 North, Range 82 West and Township 146 North, Range 83 West; and Riverdale Permit (NAFK-9503) Township 144 North, Range 83 West, Township 144 North, Range 84 West, Township 145 North, Range 82 West, Township 145 North, Range 83 West, Township 145 North, Range 84 West, Township 146 North, Range 83 West and Township 146 North, Range 84 West, all in McLean County, North Dakota. The mine area is approximately 50,251 acres, much of which is outside of Corps jurisdiction and in uplands. Mine operations are covered under North Dakota Public Service Commission (PSC) Permit Nos. NAFK-84-05 (East Permit); NAFK-8405 (Future 7th Addition); NAFK-8705 (West Permit; and NAFK-9503 (Riverdale Permit). Approximately 1,080.25 acres of wetlands and other waters have been identified in the mine area and will be filled as a result of mine operations. The PSC requires all wetlands impacted by mine operations be reconstructed. The mine plans are specifically designed to: insure no net loss of wetland acreage, minimize the farming hindrance wetlands create, and maximize the wetlands wildlife value. Currently Falkirk Mine is developing temporal mitigation sites.
