NWO-2011-01760-MTM - 9/7/2018: The purpose of the proposed wetland mitigation project is to offset permitted impacts to riparian wetlands along the mainstem and Middle Fork of the Flathead River by providing provide 4.26 functional units of ecological lift and 0.575 acre of wetland credit. The proposed riparian habitat enhancement project will replace lost riparian wetland functions and services that occurred as a result of Department of the Army (DA) permits issued in 2017 and 2018.

NWO-2014-02617-DEN - 8/27/2018: The City of Thornton, Colorado proposes the construction of four overflow channels to allow high flows from the South Platte River to enter the south and central cells of the West Cooley Reservoir Complex. Three overflow channels would be located on the South Platte River.

NWO-2017-01610-DEN - 8/23/2018: Aurora Water is proposing improvements along a reach of Toll Gate Creek to address safety concerns associated with flood water surface elevations to protect existing infrastructure and to remove adjacent properties from the mapped 100-year floodplain. The proposed activities include the installation of in-stream stabilization structures, void-filled riprap structures, boulder drop structures, log vane riffle structures, and bank protection material.

NWO-2006-90532-MTB - 8/17/2018: Montana Department of Transportation is requesting Department of the Army authorization for impacts to waters of the United States in order to reconstruct 5.1 miles of US Highway 12 from a 22-foot wide highway to a 32-foot top width and modify the horizontal and vertical alignments where deficiencies exist to meet current design standards and improve safety for the traveling public. The project as proposed would result in permanent impacts to approximately 209.5 linear feet of intermittent drainages and approximately 3.91 acres of wetlands from the placement of fill, culverts, and irrigation structures. Temporary impacts will occur to 3,264 linear feet of irrigation canals/ditches that will be reconstructed in a new location. The approximately 185-acre project site is located on US Highway 12 (P- 14) and begins at RP 82.89, extends 5.14 miles to the east, and ends at RP 88.03, and is located in Section 13 of Township 8 North, Range 12 East, and Sections 18, 19, 20, 21, 22 of Township 8 North, Range 13 East, west of Two Dot, Wheatland County, Montana.

NWO-2018-00855-MTH - 8/13/2018: Burlington North Santa Fe Railroad is requesting a Department of Army (DA) permit for the repair and improvement of slumping and failing railroad embankment. The project will permanently impact 2.75 acres of emergent wetland.
