The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Omaha District, is evaluating a permit application for the construction of 900 linear feet of vegetated riprap revetment along the north bank of the Yellowstone River in Treasure County. The existing bank is approximately 8 feet tall and nearly vertical. The revetment will be constructed from a base of 2 - 3-foot pieces of concrete rubble capped with 3 - 4-foot pieces of sandstone rock. Willows will be incorporated into the revetment.
