Popo Agie River flood risk alternatives to be discussed at public meeting in Lander, Wyoming

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, in cooperation with the City of Lander, will hold an open house on Tuesday, Dec. 19, from 5:30-7 p.m. at the Community and Convention Center, 950 Buena Vista Drive in Lander to gather public input on preliminary alternatives currently being evaluated to reduce flood risk and improve public safety along the Popo Agie River and Dickinson Creek in Lander, Wyoming. Public meeting scheduled on Randolph, Nebraska flood risk management feasibility study

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, in cooperation with the city of Randolph, will hold a public meeting on Wednesday, September 21, 2016 from 5:30-8p.m. at the City Auditorium, 119 North Main Street in Randolph, Nebraska. The purpose of the meeting is to provide an update on a flood risk management study and gather input on the draft feasibility report and integrated environmental assessment. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has been invited by the Lincoln/Lancaster County Railroad Transportation Safety District to participate in an open house public meeting on Tuesday, March 15, 2016 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Nebraska Educational Telecommunications Building, 1800 N. 33rd Street, Lincoln, Nebraska.
