YANKTON, SD – Tours of the Gavins Point power plant will not be offered from Friday, Aug. 19 through Friday, Sept. 2. Tours will resume in time for Labor Day weekend.
For the holiday weekend, tour times are as follows.
- Saturday, Sept. 3: 9, 10, and 11 a.m. and 1, 2, 3, and 4 p.m.
- Sunday, Sept. 4: 9, 10, and 11 a.m. and 1, 2, 3, and 4 p.m.
- Monday, Sept. 5: 9, 10, and 11 a.m. and 1, 2 and 3 p.m.
Tours for school, civic, and church groups can be scheduled for September through May by calling the Lewis and Clark Visitor Center at 402-667-2546.
