YANKTON, S.D.- Crest Road, the road that crosses the Gavins Point Dam will be closed from 8 a.m. Monday, Sept. 15, 2014 through 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 16, 2014. This closure will include nighttime hours. The public is asked to plan on an alternate route of travel during this time.
The closure is a result of the inspection, repair and painting of the spillway gates. There will be periodic closures throughout duration of the construction, which will continue into the fall.
