Do you visit USACE lakes in the Omaha District? Do you like to take pictures?
You could win a prize just by sharing photos of yourself or your friends and family wearing a life jacket while having fun at a USACE-managed lake or river near you!
There are three ways you can submit photos.
1. Email them to us at Omaha.USACE-PA@usace.army.mil.
2. Tag us on Twitter @OmahaUSACE and include the hashtag #WEARIT. Include a location for where the photo was taken.
3. Tag us on Instagram @OmahaUSACE and include the hashtag #WEARIT. Include a location for where the photo was taken and any other imporant details about the photo.
We will award a prize for our favorite submitted photo on the 15th of each month. All valid entries will be posted to a photo album on our Flickr page.
Photos will be judged based on subject matter, focus, creativity and overall emphasis on water safety. If your photo is chosen, you could win a one-night camping coupon or a one-time use of a large group picnic shelter at one of our beautiful parks!
Winners will be announced and notified via our various social networking sites. Once selected, winners will be asked to provide their contact information to ensure receipt of their prizes.
By submitting photos you are giving the U.S. Corps of Engineers permission to post the photos on our website or use them in publications, such as water safety ads, lake brochures, etc.
Camping coupons and picnic shelter passes are valid at Omaha USACE-managed camp sites and day-use facilities. Winners will be provided with contact information to make campsite or shelter arrangements based on availability. Winners should call as soon as possible to book reservations. Campsite and shelter reservation prizes valid for one year from date of issue.
USACE and partner organizations' employees and family members may participate but are not eligible to receive prizes.
